Pune: Lentra, the Intelligent Decisioning Enterprise Platform for Lending, has announced its strategic entry into the analytics space with the acquisition of Data Harbor, a real-time, AI-powered data science company.
The Data Harbor acquisition is expected to strengthen the Lentra Intelligence Stack, which sits on top of the lender’s institutional intelligence to provide digital insights, recommendations and executional automation to stakeholders across the loan lifecycle.
Data Harbor Acquisition to Expand Lentra’s Analytics Capabilities
Lending today operates in an increasingly data-rich and interconnected environment, where factors influencing credit outcomes can change rapidly.
Banks therefore need timely and reliable insights to assess evolving risks and respond effectively across the loan lifecycle.
As data becomes more widely available, the ability to convert it into actionable intelligence is becoming increasingly important for banks.
Through the acquisition of Data Harbor, Lentra is adding real-time data consolidation, predictive analytics, data science, algorithms and engineering capabilities to its technology stack.
The integration of Data Harbor’s technology and expertise into the Lentra Intelligence Stack is aimed at supporting lenders globally.

Lentra Intelligence Stack to Integrate Data Harbor Technology
The acquisition will bring Data Harbor’s technology and expertise into the Lentra Intelligence Stack.
The platform is designed to leverage institutional intelligence to provide digital insights, recommendations and executional automation across the loan lifecycle.
The move comes as lenders increasingly operate in a data-rich environment in which credit-related factors can change rapidly.
Lentra said that timely and reliable insights are therefore important for banks seeking to assess evolving risks and respond across the lending lifecycle.
Commenting on the acquisition, Rajesh Kumar, CEO, Lentra, said: “Technology is becoming increasingly commoditised, and data is becoming more democratised.
What will increasingly differentiate banks is the intelligence they have built and how effectively they can use it.
Our expansion into analytics is an important step towards building a category-defining Lentra Intelligence Stack that puts institutional intelligence at the heart of credit decisioning.”
With the acquisition of Data Harbor, Lentra is expanding the capabilities of its Intelligence Stack to include real-time data consolidation and predictive analytics, alongside its existing focus on intelligent decisioning for lending.
